Operation James 2 is a faith-based nonprofit created to put faith into action through free essential home repair and tangible acts of service.
We serve individuals and families who are facing unsafe, overwhelming, or unaffordable home repair needs — meeting people at their physical needs while reminding them they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
Rooted in James 2:17, we believe faith was never meant to stay still.
Faith without action is dead.
Operation James 2 exists to mobilize skilled tradesmen, volunteers, churches, donors, and community partners to serve those who need it most — one home, one family, and one act of faith at a time.

— James 2:17I’ve always had a passion for woodworking — and for serving people.
On November 19th, 2024, everything changed.
I had a serious hand accident in my shop — just seconds before I was about to continue building a 15-foot cross for a local church.
That moment slowed me down.
During recovery, I felt like God was planting something in my heart… something about starting a nonprofit.
I didn’t fully understand it.
So I pushed it aside and kept moving forward.
Just 139 days later, on April 7th, 2025, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Everything stopped — not just for me, but for my whole family.
Cancer was a test we didn’t get to study for.
I went through 11 long weeks of chemotherapy.
Life slowed down in a way I never would have chosen —
but it’s exactly where God met me.
During that time, I joined a men’s Bible study.
On my first night, they were studying James 2:14–26.
I couldn’t get away from those verses.
I sat in them daily for weeks.
Until I finally asked:
“God, how can I use my talents to meet people at their physical needs?”
The answer was clear:
Free home repair.
I pushed back.
Nobody does that.
But then it hit me —
God had already planted that seed months earlier.
I just wasn’t ready to see it yet.
In that moment, Operation James 2 was born.
Not from a business plan.
Not from a boardroom.
Not from having it all figured out.
But from obedience.
This isn’t just about fixing homes.
It’s about meeting people where they are.
Stepping into real needs with real solutions.
Focused on Safety. Function. Dignity.
Putting Faith Into Action.
